Steel Penny Travel Center
Locally owned and operated travel center just steps away with 22 fueling positions designed exclusively for cars, trucks, vehicles pulling trailers and RV’s. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, toys and so much more.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcomed at Bar J Hitchin' Post RV Park! We love four-legged guests — just ask that all pet owners follow our simple rules to keep the park enjoyable for everyone.
- No pets over 20 pounds allowed
- Well-behaved, leashed pets only at all times
- Pets must never be left outside unattended or tied to anything
- No pens, cages, or kennels are permitted outside of the RV
- Owners must clean up and dispose of pet waste immediately
- Pets are not allowed inside the clubhouse, restrooms, showers, laundry or lounge areas
- Management reserves the right to require any guest to remove a misbehaving pet or vacate their site if a pet is a nuisance to others

Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in time: 1:00 PM
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Must check in at the office upon arrival
Quiet Hours & Speed
- Quiet hours: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Speed limit within the park is 10 mph
- Drive only on roads — do not park on the grass
Sites & Vehicles
- No fencing on or around sites
- No rubber black mats on grass areas
- No unlicensed vehicles allowed on premises
- No riding ATVs in the park
- Washing vehicles and RVs is not permitted without a $7.00 permit — please check with the office
- Only well-kept RVs are allowed; management reserves the right to refuse admission if standards are not met
- Tents are not permitted on RV sites
- Clotheslines are not permitted
Facilities & Guests
- Restrooms, showers, and laundry are open 24 hours
- Only registered guests are permitted to use the facilities on the property
- Children must be supervised at all times; parents and guardians are responsible for the actions and conduct of their children
Fire, Smoking & Conduct
- Campfires and open fires of any kind are not permitted
- Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings
- Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground
- No soliciting in the park
- Well-behaved, leashed pets only
Management & Liability
- Management reserves the right to require any guest to vacate the park for any behavior that disturbs other guests
- Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason
- Bar J Hitchin' Post RV assumes no responsibility for injury, damage, or loss of property
- Anyone refusing to follow park rules, destroying property, or creating a disturbance is subject to eviction without refund
